So, new races are mostly sorted and areas somewhat planned. As I was considering encounters, I thought that time to change current system. There's two versions of encounters in game 1 - you go to the place, then search around, and 2 - you go through the place, getting encounters until get to the exist (the undercity zone). Basically, I feel like second option is way more healthy, as it gives you feel of progress and that going through zone actually takes your time and effort, unlike how other world functions right now. So I've been redoing overworld structure to work in similar way. You enter zone - you proceed through it and find random encounters, then after you hit the limit you get an option to move onto connected regions or stay around for more encounters. Now, to balance it out, there will be few more 'portal' locations, which will allow you to get from your mansion to those, once unlocked.

Another important change is related to me, wanting to raise value of new residents making you treasure them. So now after you fight a capturable girl, you roll a dice, if you lose she escapes and you have to find another one. Basic chance to actually capture a girl is pretty low (about 1 in 4-5), and will also make girls with high willpower harder to capture. However your chances will drastically improve with companion's body control raising chance up to 80-100% as you advance through the game. I do also wanna add some spells, which would ease the capture, or maybe even turn it into minigame, if I could think of a good one.

Now I'm kinda stuck with list of stuff I want to do and change before giving you next version. After finishing new and old zones stuff there were plans at least for alchemy and spells rework and tons of other stuff partly relied on writers, so I can't quite tell if it will happen in few days or weeks, but I'll try to push out next version before 15th at the very least.

  2. An alchemy and spells rework would be great! Right now most spells are at best cute, but useless. Daze and Sedation seem to be the only spells ever worth using.
    Alchemy, it isn't at all clear what some of the potions do, and consuming rare or hard to find essences for an unknown reason seems foolish at best.

  5. Is it just me or does it take awhile to get the right mutations for quests? I am looking for multibreasts on tauros, but having 3 sets don't seem to count.

    1. 3 sets should be right. You also have to make them max sized and lactating though.

    2. How do I get the other sets of breasts to increase? I am using mutate because I have no access to magic essence. I also found that Charm decreases with sex. Is that supposed to occur?

    4. With some sex it might happen. Basically you'd want to use laboratory. Magic essence should be possible to get from fairies. Charm may decrease on some options.

    5. How do you increase the stats? I was rather confused on how to increase her base stats like willpower, wits, or her courage. I tried having sex with fairies, but I never got magic essence.

    6. They have to be residents and you have to make them orgasm. You can't really increase their stats right now. Probably will add few ways in feature versions.

    7. Ah alright. Because I didn't really like how interacting with them lowered their stats. It made it feel like it would be better to sell them once I got them if their stats and worth decreased instead of increase with training.

    8. If their stats are bad you probably would want to sell them. Otherwise their stats will generally decrease because of abuse with low corruption/not having correct traits.

    12. Thats weird... Vanilla sex shouldn't decrease stats at all, only rape and torture, and sometimes prostitution related stuff.

    13. Can you specify what increases or decreases? There isn't a wiki for the game, so it might be hard to identify what is the best choice when training your servants. It might also be a good idea to let people have more than 6 servants. I can't seem to carry more or upgrade my residence.

    14. You can upgrade your mansion at the shaliq (I believe after farm quest is done). I'd have to get a bit in depths of game mechanic to specify everything. Basically there's a corruption stat (you can see it with mind read btw). If corruption stat is very high, most of the actions are not going to decrease any stats. Otherwise dirty actions will decrease stats and increase corruption. There's very few things which can increase stats right now (like pliable trait) and you probably shouldn't rely on that. Corruption can be passively increased by rules and some clothes up to certain cap without damaging willpower stats. I'm still tweaking values on all that from time to time. Hope that helps.

    16. You can only get other breasts 'slightly smaller' which should work. It's done at laboratory.

  7. Looking forward to the next version and the addition of the new races. And yeah, combat is a bit clunky, but also very unintuitive and dependent on using lots and lots of mana and spells to keep the fight going.

    Small suggestion for adventuring and encounters in general: Have you considered a mission hub style system? Instead of leaving Shaliq village to wander aimlessly, add a tavern that acts like an encounter hub.
    Within the tavern you can listen to various 'rumors' that provide general information on the encounter enemies, difficulty, and possible reward.

    Quick and rough, example: You enter the packed tavern and overhear several interesting rumors floating about the room. Listen about: Elven forest, Undercity, the Crossroads.

    If you select the Elven Forest: You hear rumors of a mysterious glen hidden within the elven lands where dryads have been spotted, but the presence of elven guards (difficulty description).
    If your companion is low level and skilled it'll say something like "make it suicidal to investigate" if equal level then "pose a challenge" if companion is higher level and skilled then "are hardly a concern".
    Encounter is then random encounters of the mobs for this area. If you pass then the mystic grove is unlocked and additional rumors/encounters are unlocked. After the mystic grove is discovered the rumors change to something like rumors of a particular girl being spotted entering the forest alone for an attempt to capture them after the encounter.

    If you select the Crossroad: You hear rumors of a several bandits active around the crossroads led by a (attractiveness) (race) bandit. Based on the stories the group seems (difficulty) to handle.
    Same difficulty metric above, but obviously the crossroads is a lower level encounter than the elven forest and the enemies are bandits and animals with the reward being a bounty at the end in addition to possibly capturing the bandit.

    If you select the Undercity: Several guards talk about a (attractiveness) (race) reported missing and last seen taken by Red Moon cultists into the depths of the Undercity.
    Getting lazy, but add a difficulty reports same as above and encounter plays out like normal.

    1. Tbh I wish to redo current combat system, but in the same time I have very few(none) ideas which could fit in current engine, so I kinda willingly leaving it untouched with hope to get to it after we switch.

      Hub system is kinda interesting, but not entirely makes sense, as the game is more about exploration and custom quests right now, than randomly generated ones. Making a system for random combat quests may be fun, but I'm not sure if I wanna touch it yet, as there's other things still require tons of polishing.
